We are pleased to announce the recipients of the Love My Place Grants 2019-20. Love My Place Grants are part of the City of Port Phillip’s Placemaking Program, offering grants of up to $10,000 to deliver projects in the South Melbourne and Fitzroy Street placemaking precincts.
A total of $89,000 will be awarded for projects to be delivered from January until June 2020. The value of these projects totals $286,584 with co-contributions from the winners. We received a number of amazing applications and have selected 11 activities, five in South Melbourne and six in Fitzroy Street to receive funding as well as one in-kind support offer.
We look forward to facilitating the grant recipients’ visions and supporting them through their journey.

They are dedicated to providing the unique platform of an extra-wide projection screen, to showcase contemporary video art from both Australian and international artists. Once the sun sets on June 20th, on the longest night of the year, the brave, the wild and the curious are taking the plunge.
The Longest Night is a midwinter performance, music and swimming festival, calling on you to embrace the un-embraceable. For swimmers and on-lookers alike, join us to bring the night alive in the dead of winter.
Presented by artist Kit Wise and musician Grant Siedle in partnership with Linden New Art celebrating the winter solstice.
